"Partners for Dialogue": fact-finding visits on EU-Israeli-Palestinian relations |
|
One of the Euro Middle East Forum’s leading activity is a multi-annual programme of fact-finding visits to Israel and Palestine for young professionals and graduate students from a variety of European countries.
These visits include meetings and discussions with Palestinian and Israeli political leaders, European officials, experts, civil society actors and young professionals, on the subject of EU-Israeli-Palestinian relations.
Through this programme, the participants gain tangible insights into and knowledge of the Israeli and Palestinian political landscape and society, and have an opportunity to establish sustainable relationships.
The programme's first edition (pilot) took place in August 2007 with the support of the European Investment Bank and the College of Europe. Its second edition was organised on 10-25 August 2008 with the support of the Belgian Federal ministry for Foreign affairs.
